Our Approach

We the Women 2022 event was organised by speaker, advocate, and entrepreneur, Alexia Hilbertidou and was sponsored by Spark, PwC New Zealand, and ANZ. This 2 day in-person Hackfest brought together a group of over 100 women aged 17 – 25 with diverse passions across STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) finance, design, gender equality and business.

Kindred had the pleasure of working alongside Alexia to execute the brand identity and collateral for the Hackfest event. Our approach was to incorporate ASCII artwork (American Standard Code for Information Interchange) for a technological style, a bold energetic colour palette, typography, and fun iconography. Creating a brand identity that connects with Gen Z demographic, bringing a visual vitality to the event.
